Move over, Hollywood! Year 2 took their storytelling skills into the great outdoors, blending classic fairy tales with some serious tech talent.
🌿 Jack and the Beanstalk: Reimagined
Armed with iPads and a cast of paper characters, our little directors headed out into the school grounds to bring the story of Jack and the Beanstalk to life. We didn't just read the story—we built it, framed it, and captured it!
The children worked in pairs to:
• Scout the Perfect Location: Finding the "giant’s castle" among the play equipment or the "magic beans" hidden in the flower beds.
• Master Photography Skills: Learning how to focus the lens, steady their hands, and find the best angles to make a paper giant look truly enormous.
• Teamwork Makes the Dream Work: Taking turns being the director and the camera operator to make sure every shot was just right.
Our budding photographers learned about "bird's-eye view" and "worm's-eye view" today—though mostly they just enjoyed getting a bit of fresh air while they worked! 🥰
