We explored Talk for Writing with the story “Where’s Spot?” The children used props to re-tell the story, build confidence, and use their imagination — they loved inventing new hiding places for the animals!
We also launched our Big Bedtime Read. Children came to school in their pyjamas with their favourite bedtime book and cuddly toy. We enjoyed hot chocolate and read the story of the three little pigs. We went to Forest school to make their houses from, straw, sticks and bricks.
We also celebrated Nursery Rhyme Week, we used the green screen to sing lots of well-loved rhymes!
