Our pupils have been busy using their power for good during Anti-Bullying Week!
We started with Odd Socks Day, a fun and colourful reminder to celebrate differences and always choose kindness.
Throughout the week, many classes enjoyed the story “Have You Filled a Bucket Today?” and shared amazing ideas about how to fill each other’s buckets with kindness and respect.
We created compliment chains in our classrooms to show how kind words can build each other up.
We also learned an important lesson about words – both in person and online – using a tube of toothpaste! Just like toothpaste, once words come out, you can’t put them back in. This helped us understand why it’s so important to think before we speak or type.
Our Nursery pupils joined in by role-playing what it means to be a kind friend, using kind hands, kind feet, and kind words every day!
