Jack and the Beanstalk - A musical Story

Over the past few weeks, the children have been writing diary entries and really stepping into the characters, thinking about how Jack, his mum and others would have felt at different parts of the story. We have been building our vocabulary around emotions and learning how to express those feelings in our writing.

Today, we brought the story to life through music 🎶

We explored different instruments and learned about tempo, speed, pitch and how sounds can represent parts of a story.

The children had so much fun experimenting and were brilliant at explaining their choices, sharing why they picked certain instruments and giving thoughtful feedback to their peers.
