This term, P3M has been on an amazing adventure, diving deep into our topic of Marvellous Me! We've become budding biologists, expert artists, and meticulous scientists, learning all about the incredible workings of the human body. It's been a term packed with hands-on fun and fascinating discoveries.
We started by exploring what makes us, us! P3M mastered the names of some key bones in the body—we even learned how to make them! Using art straws, we carefully constructed our very own amazing skeletons.
We then focused on the amazing sense of taste and the clever taste buds that make it all happen. We honed our predicting skills in a variety of taste tests, predicting different flavours and tastes before trying foods. We designed fantastic models of the mouth, accurately showing the different types of teeth (like incisors and molars) and mapping out where those incredible taste buds are located on the tongue. We headed outdoors in Forest School and used natural materials found outside to construct a brilliant, earthy mouth.
It's been a truly Marvellous term of learning, investigating, and creating. P3M are now experts on what makes their bodies work!
