Math morning with a difference!

On Friday 23rd May we had our Maths morning. Every child was encouraged to bring a watch and on the hour and every half hour we blew our party blowers, with our maths party hats on and had a celebration for a minute. We looked at the live analogue and digital clock on our interactive whiteboard and discussed where the minute and hour hands were. 

But that’s not all we did ! P1 did pattern work with fruit and played roll and cover board game. P2 did an outdoor number hunt and made 3D shapes with matchsticks and marshmallows. P3 completed tangram challenges, number splat and completed various tasks in a minute.
