We enjoyed some Spring “Hapa Zome” in Nursery. It is a Japanese term meaning “leaf dye”. We gathered spring leaves and flowers, exploring their shapes and colours. We arranged our nature finds on fabric and then used hammers to transfer the natural pigments to the cloth. The hammers help to develop our gross and fine motor skills. We love the end results!
