To celebrate Book Week NI in Dundela, we welcomed the brilliant artist and author Dawn Crothers to celebrate the release of her new book 'The Snail Artist'. She read the children the wonderful story and then demonstrated how to draw her iconic snails. She took requests and created lots of lovely themed snails, from a dinosaur snail to a Halloween snail, she did it all. We even got our own Dundela snail designed 🐝 The children then designed their own snail and Dawn came round each class to help the pupils hone their illustrating talents. We are so lucky to have been taught skills and techniques from a real artist!
