P2 have been enjoying their recent topic on Toys. We had a visit today from a ‘Nanny’ from Mountstewart. She told us all about a little girl called Mary, the daughter of Lord and Lady Londonderry, who lived in the Mountstewart house with her Nanny. She showed us some of her original toys and some other toys that resembled the type of toys children played with in the olden days.
The children all listened very well and enjoyed the experience.
