P3M have had a great day celebrating Poland on European Languages Day 🇵🇱 we created some beautiful Wycinanki art which became a popular folk craft in Poland in the mid 1800s. We were inspired by some pictures of real Wycinanki art, looking at the shapes, colours and designs that we could replicate. The pupils chose if they wanted to recreate a flower image or an animal themed one. The P3s loved exploring the different shapes they could make by folding paper in different directions and experimenting to see the range of outcomes they could produce.
