Working Together Makes Learning Fun in Y3H!
This term Mrs Herron’s Year 3 students took part in a range of exciting activities that helped build teamwork and develop collaboration skills. From group projects and problem solving challenges to creative art tasks and outdoor lessons, we learned how to listen, share ideas, and support one another. Together we discovered that when everyone contributes, we can achieve amazing results.
As part of our World Around Us lessons we were learning all about the human skeleton and the organs in our bodies. We were set the challenge of creating a skeleton that had moving joints and then a task that involved us using collage materials to create the main organs in the human body. As an extra challenge we used library books and online topic books to help create labels and fact cards to teach one another more about the human body.
In Forest school we had to work collaboratively to create a game of tic tac toe using natural materials and then have a tournament in our teams. During outdoor learning we worked together to act out the story of the Gruffalo and created some exciting geometric art.
