In Year 1, our pupils have been busy learning through play and fun activities!
We’ve been exploring numbers, sounds, shapes, and the world around us. As we learn, we’re also practising important skills like working together, solving problems, and thinking of new ideas. When we build with blocks, sort objects, or go on sound hunts, we’re learning how to make good choices, share with friends, and talk about what we’re doing. When we play with loose parts and small world objects we are encouraging imagination and original thinking. We’ve been asking questions, trying things out, and learning how to keep going even when something is tricky. These activities help us become confident, curious, and kind learners—ready for all the exciting things ahead!
