At Dundela Primary School, Religious Education focuses on helping children develop strong moral values such as kindness, respect, helping others and caring for our world. Pupils learn that while people may hold different beliefs, many values, are shared by everyone.

Throughout all year groups, children explore Christian celebrations such as Christmas and Easter, as well as a range of non‑Christian festivals connected to other religions and cultures, including Chinese New Year, Diwali and Eid.

Our RE lessons encourage children to be curious, respectful and understanding of others, helping them to appreciate diversity and develop a positive sense of belonging in our wider community.
