In P3BM the children have been adding two digit numbers using an adaptive teaching approach to approach all learners. A range of practical resources, including 100 grid and dienes, helped the children visualise and solve calculations with confidence. Step by step instructions were provided throughout the activity to guide understanding and encourage independence. The children showed great engagement and perseverance while developing their addition skills.
