In P3M, we have been busy transforming into digital experts! This term, we’ve been using the Just2Easy platform to develop our ICT skills, from staying safe online to becoming master data handlers.
Here is a look at what we’ve been up to:
🐻 Safety First with Paddington!
We started our journey by learning how to use the internet responsibly. We practiced safely downloading a picture of everyone’s favourite bear…Paddington! Then we added the picture to our document and used our literacy skills to type out some fantastic adjectives to describe him.
📊 Data Detectives
We’ve also been busy collecting and representing information in different ways:
• Bird Watch Pictograms: We kept a close eye on our feathered friends outside and used our findings to create colourful pictograms. It was a great way to see which birds visit Dundela most often! 🐦
• Car Survey Bar Charts: We then conducted a car colour survey. Once we had our results, we learnt how to turn that data into a professional-looking bar chart. 🚗
It has been wonderful to see how confident the children are becoming with logging on, navigating the tools, and presenting their hard work digitally.
