We have had great fun using some of our STEM skills. After our trip to the farm we decided to have a go at making butter! We used our Predicting Paddy skills when we were thinking about what might happen to the liquid cream before it would become butter. After we had chatted about what we would need to do to encourage the runny cream to thicken and separate the fat from the butter milk, we used our Doing Darcy skills and set to work with a lot of shaking! And lastly we used our Observation Ollie skills to watch carefully as that separation process happened. Then best of all…we used our tasting skills to decide if the butter tasted good!! There were lots of thumbs up as we ate our cream crackers with our own butter 🙂😋👍
