Who We Are

The Dundela Parent and Teacher's Association - PTA - is a small group of parents,
guardians, and teaching staff who come together to raise money for Dundela Primary
School. It also helps provide fun days and seasonal treats for the kids at the school and the
local community.

What We Do

We meet around 4 times a year and try to put the fun into fundraising by arranging events
like non-uniform days, school discos, Christmas cards and quiz nights, and we
are always open to new ideas!
These events not only generate essential funds,but also bring together children, parents,
staff, and the local community in a fun way. All proceeds are reinvested into the school to
enhance facilities and resources for our children.

Why We Fundraise

It's simple...To give the children at Dundela the best facilities and resources we can outside
of school budgets. Our fundraising efforts over the years have meant our children have state
of the art Forest School facilities, bike and scooter parking, library books, literacy resources
to bolster the Write to Talk learning programme, a defibrillator and IT equipment. This year we have added some lovely new playground toys to make playtime more fun at break or lunch. 

We are also very proud of the role the school plays in the East Belfast community and by
supporting fun events that everyone can get involved in, it helps make the pupils and adults
proud to be part of the Dundela family.

How You Can Help

By taking part in as many of our events and initiatives as possible! Your support matters and
makes a difference to what we can achieve for the kids here at the school so no matter how
small, your involvement counts!
We also welcome new volunteers and ideas every year - at any stage of the term. Whether
you can donate your time, share your skills, or contribute fresh ideas, we’d love to hear from
you. We only meet quarterly for an hour and we use a WhatsApp group to stay in touch in
between so whatever you can give - we’d love to hear from you! Drop us a line at
